I’m not sure that he really means boring or that he just has trouble with it. I think he takes after me. I saw these cards on Amazon and thought that if perhaps he could learn while playing a game he might find it more enjoyable. I bought the cards but found the sparse instructions printed on them difficult to follow. This was understandable given the size constraints of the cards. I was going to email the seller but before I could do so I was sent an email from them. The email acknowledged the issue with the instructions and admitted that it is difficult to fully explain the games with the room constraints on the cards. They also gave detailed instructions on how to use them to play several games while encouraging us to make up our own.At first my nephew was reluctant to play since the cards did not come with a battery nor make loud noises. I enlisted his older brother to play some card games with him. Bribes were not involved. At least not once he started having fun himself. I have to smile when I go over to visit and the two of them are actually getting along and learning math while having a good time. They did make up their own game which they call “Fast and Furious”. All the cards are spread out face up on a large table. When the signal is given they each grab 2, multiply the large top number on each of their cards then dive into the pile on the table to find the card that has the product of their cards on the bottom then they grab two more and keep going. The winner ends up with the most cards.I think this product is great but only gave it 3 stars because of the insufficient instructions. Apparently, there will be instructional videos, a website and specific questions can be submitted to their Facebook page so I may have to edit this review in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Fun for Me, Hard Sell to My 9 Year Old Son *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 16, 2016* I think that this is a fun game, but to be honest I do not think any 9 year old boy feels the same. Unless your kids love math its a hard sell to get them excited to play this. ### ⭐ Someone is "Gaming" these reviews *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 14, 2015* I purchased these cards 6 months ago and I'm only now just getting around to opening them. I thought they would be a good summer bridge activity for my elementary aged child.I notice that these cards are currently on "sale" for about $10. After reviewing them, I'm sorry to say that I paid double that. Honestly, I think that $5 would have been too much.The cards are printed on good quality card stock and I'm sure a lot of research has gone in to creating them. My problem with these cards is the lack of instructions. There are 4 "jokers" in the pack which give you some brief notes. For example, the yellow joker card indicates the following scoring trick for multiplication: "Product of large numbers on cards A and B equals one of 5 small numbers on card C." I had to read through the reviews to figure out that your child is supposed to grab two cards and then dig through the deck to find the 3rd card that matches the product for the two numbers they drew from the deck. Ok. But some more thorough instructions would have been helpful.Also, there are circles in the lower right hand corner of the cards with symbols/ numbers within them. I have no idea what they mean. Some of them look like a stylized lower case A and upper case B.one looks like a Y. The other....I have no idea. I am sure there is a perfectly legitimate use for these symbols but I have no instructions, or very limited instructions, so I don't know what it is.The cards do indicate you can visit their website for "detailed" instructions. Let me go back and reiterate that I paid TWENTY dollars for a pack of cards...and there are no written instructions to which I can refer? This is very frustrating. I would think for that kind of money, they could INCLUDE a paper insert with instructions.At some point I may try to figure this out with their website. If so, I will update my review.UPDATE: I came back to give these cars another try but noticed that most of the one and two star reviews have been "gamed." SOMEBODY has marked the lower starred reviews as "not helpful" in some cases a dozen+ times in an effort to push them down in the list of reviews. Lo and behold, the 5 star reviews have dozens of "helpful" clicks. Uh huh.
