Required lots of space due to two ICs and lots of wires to connect the ICs to VCC and GND and the modules. But it worked.I then saw these and though I would give them a go to see if they were any better.Well they are superb. Less space required no extra ICs required simply goes you four channels to send a signal across.The only difficulty I had was soldering on the antennas. But thats just me and my bad eyesight.My first photo shows the receiver on the left with a red LED, the transmitter on the right with a single push button.The video show the push button sending a signal to the transmitter, then the receiver receiving the signal and lighting the red LED. My third photo shows the other type of rf oldie the YK-MK with two ICs. ok that one also has three buttons and three LEDs but you can see where the extra space is required for that type of module (the two ICs).These modules and the other type of modules all work ok, I just like these 4ch ones better.They do work on both 5v and 3.3v. Just tried it on the lower voltage and it works. I have not tested how far they can transmit and receive on 3.3v but would assume a little less due to the lower voltage.
