It is modular so no unnecessary cables, cables are nice and click in place. It has some weight which makes it look and feel sturdy.The silent mode is a nice feature, fan does not turn on until needed which is 90% of the time. Supposed to reduce noise but even with my computer on my desk (no case) I can't hear it when it starts. When it does start I'm playing some demanding game like Star Citizen and the noise coming from the cpu and gpu fan is so loud that the 120mm fan from the psu can't get trough anyway. As I said a nice feature but not a game changer.650W more than enough for what I have.Nothing bad to say about this, price is good, quality is there, feature are there.-PS my computer:AMD FX-8350 cpu stock fan and clockGTX970 gpu (Gygabyte G1 Gaming edition)1 hdd1 ssd8gb ram 1600MHz in 2 sticks ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great PSU for an even Greater Price *by B***E on October 26, 2013* The Corsair RM Line of PSUs are great. I personally own the 650 variant and could not be happier.Pros-- Very Silent Operation. I never hear the PSU and my case is on my desk, 1 1/2 Feet away from me. The fan Never turns on while on the desktop or using simple applications such as Youtube/steam/Skype Etc. Only when Im playing very demanding game does the Fan turn on. And even then, I cant hear it.- Modular. This is a given- Flat Black Individually sleeved Cables. The cables look so good if you have a case with good routing options.Cons-The flat black cables are a pain (In my opinion) to cable route. I suggest breaking any cable you use in first before using them. And by breaking in I mean bending back and forth the cable so its not so stiff ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have caught the upgrade bug and I'm very glad I purchased this PSU *by E***N on February 24, 2016* Got this for my first build. At the time, it was overkill, but I knew I wanted to upgrade at some point in the future. Sure enough, I have caught the upgrade bug and I'm very glad I purchased this PSU! I currently have it pushing a 4690k that is overclocked and an r9 390 GPU. Some would say that the r9 390 needs more juice than this unit (650) can provide. After doing some research, I learned that was not the case at all. This PSU puts out 54amps on the 12 volt rail. Long story short, that means this unit really does deliver 648 of power and it had handled my system just fine. Modular design with tons of plug up options, there is really nothing to dislike about this unit.
