Rugged black and sleek. My wife on the other hand goes Orla Kielly etc.This time I thought I would spend a little bit more for something a bit more classic, classy, old school. Leather to suite a gentleman of style and taste ( me ) .It is nice. It is a fine and attractive leather covering the outside and inside of a rigid case.And therin lies the flaw.The iPhones volume buttons on the left of an iphone protrude maybe 1.5mm and when you have a side case panel that goes inside leather-rigid case-outside leather you are getting to maybe 3.5mm .In short the volume button are a bugger to press .You can do it but you need a fleshy finger and some pressure.It's not a deal breaker as in all other respects it is a classy case. It feels nice in the hand. I am no expert in leather but to me it's decent and my nose tells me it is the realdeal.On the next batch the maker might consider a cut out on the left over the volume buttons.The case is nicely cut away at the bottom to give easy access to charger and headphones and speaker which is way better than a few recent cases. I like that.Worth the money ? Yes . Would I buy again when this one ( and they all ) eventually breaks. Yes if there is no other leather alternative. Would I pay an even bigger premium if i could easily push the volume buttons.
