Too bad they are on the expensive side. That said the ingredients are far superior to most lower cost jerky. Ordered three boxes over the course of three months and will probably continue to keep them on my list. Wait for the price to level out before purchasing though. Here on Amazon these things, like so many others skyrocket and then come back down to reasonable over time. Wait for the sales. Moist, easy to chew bars that keep their shape (instead of being dry, crumbly and messy like that other brand of meat bars with the pretty pictures on the packaging). Lightweight and compact, these are easy to carry in a purse, backpack, or large pocket. Great for outdoor activities, or for people who want a healthy, quick snack option instead of being forced to grab fast food or a vending machine item. I have to eat often, and in small portions, and can quickly become hangry, or even ill if I don't.
