**Q: Why should I get this one vs. other cheaper universal extenders on Amazon? Pro/con? I have a 5200 sqft home and want faster more reliable signal to TV**
A: It's the best.  I buy nothing without reading the reviews.  I give this unit 10 stars.  I just took 3 minutes to hook it up and walked to the back of my yard with a kindle fire connected and at 200 feet, the back fence, I still had full bars.  Now, I can play my music back there under a tree with great signal.  I had others, they didn't work.  This one has NO equal.  It's just the best, PERIOD.  6/13/2016.  I used it as an extender for wifi.

**Q: what is it?**
A: The most beneficial use for this device is as follows: This device can used in a part of your home where WiFi from your router is difficult or impossible to receive: this would be the WiFi Access Point mode.  You plug this device into a wired network, and then your wireless only devices such as tablet, etc. connect to this device using wireless, and then are sent to your router via the wired connection.  This device can also be set to Range Extender or Router mode.  This device has it own interface using the LCD screen for making any customizations EASY and INTUITIVE with no networking knowledge. Truly, anyone, especially non-techies, can set up and use this device for powerful use.  It makes setting up WiFi Access Points or Range Extending laughable easy.  Also, it has proven quire reliable.

**Q: I would like to use it as an extender. How do I know where the best place for it is?  Do I just plug it ito the wall?**
A: There's some suggestions to plug in next to existing router that you are trying to extend.  However, I have plugged in roughly 100ft away and it's extended my network another 100ft from there.  So you might just have to play with it to see what works best for your situation.  Bottom line, you can plug into any outlet to test, so play with it to see what works best.

**Q: useful for at&t uverse?**
A: According to the manual it does. I have Comcast (which didn't appear in manual) and it picked up signal like a champ!
