I wired it up with the recommended Dual XPE2700 (400W) amp in bridged Mono configuration. It rattles my 1995 Isuzu Trooper well. I did not get it to have it so loud you can hear me coming down the road, but you could if I turned the amp all the way up. I have the amp only at half power, and It makes plenty enough noise and stays crisp. I did not want any Sub Fuzz since it is sitting in the back of the truck where you would hear it. Best of all it fits nicely behind the 3rd row of seating (which is a pretty small space in this truck). I highly recommend this - especially at this price point. I am considering getting another set up for another vehicle. Would work great in a boat too since it is so cheap you wouldn't have to worry too much about getting it wet.
