Uneven cooking. Breaking apart after three uses. *by M***O on Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2015* I bought the Amber color without a stand. Beautiful little portable BBQ. The cast iron cooking grill is made of two halves; one came enameled and one was bare metal;poor quality control. Actual grill surface area is closer to 278 square inches(not 288 as advertised); this is a minimal discrepancy possibly due to a typo.After the first time use the color darkened significantly on the left side. During the second use two small chips literally exploded off the enamel/paint finish. Used it for the last time a couple of days ago and all the little silicon parts came off and now when you close it the metal lid hits the grill directly.The left and right side cook unevenly at max heat(left>right) but it can be adjusted by lowering the left heat. However, the right side has weaker heat, so when you adjust the left to a lower matching temperature, you get two weak burners. The front and back cook unevenly; the back burns, the front under-cooks. The thermometer some times gets stuck at 120-140 degrees, which made it unusable with the lid close. I wish I had not bought this thing. I paid $299, which is a complete rip-off for a poor quality basically useless grill. On the positive side, it looked really nice when I took it out of the box.To return it I have to pay shipping my self and then get reimbursed a lesser amount by Amazon. Shipping from my remote location is approx $190 since we can only ship by air.
