Easy to use and accurate readings. Because the colors are very staining (fingertip stains for a couple of days), I highly recommend using a pair of forcepts. MABIS Precision Kelly Box Lock Forceps Tweezers Clamp, Silver, Straight, 5-1/2 Inch. An added benefit of using forcepts is that you will only need about 1/2-inch piece of paper instead of a 1-inch piece, for each reading. I got this to try out for my Kombucha and it's a clear winner! You can use as much of the strip or as little as you want (I only use a little bit at a time, no need for more if you're just dipping it in) and the results are immediate and accurate. No calibrating, no extra chemicals needed.Other reviews cautioned about it staining your fingers but I haven't had that problem at all. I just dip it in, get an immediate reading and throw it away. I put a napkin down next to what I was testing so I could lay it on there as soon as I read it. Works great!
