## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many cranking amps does this have?**
A: All it says on the back of the unit is 12v output and Maximum 4000Amps.  There is nothing in the manual mentioned.  You can't use it on any other than 12 volt batteries that have gone dead.  After 9 months of not using it, it showed 100% charge; after 12 months of not using it, it says 80% charge.  Pretty amazing.  The clamps are very well made and 100% copy inside. Hope that helps.

**Q: How long does it hold a charge for? the jump starter i keep in my car is always dead when i go to use it and i charge it once a month.**
A: I used it about four times and then put it to charge. It still had some life to it because the blue indicator lights had some bars. I guess it depends on how much power it takes to charge your car.

**Q: A lot of reviews say it didn't jump their diesels. Ad says it will, dead or alive. What gives? I have a 6.7 and a 7.3.**
A: Hello, our mechanical protection system works different from other brands. Hence when starting a dead battery, it’s required to long press boost button until indicator turns green to override low voltage protection. Mjs101B is definitely good for diesels.

**Q: How much start current it have**
A: I don't know how much current it delivers, but it started a COMPLETELY DEAD V-6 Jaguar, (not even a "clicking" noise dead battery) like it had a brand new battery.  Spun it right over as though it didn't have any spark plugs in it. Amazing!!! I bought one because the tow truck drivers swear by them, and who would know better than those guys?

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The 4000 Watt Autogen Car Jumper really works!

When I received this 4000 Watt starting device, I had high hopes for it. I had bought one with 400 watts of starting power that would not start my lawn tractor. So needless to say I really had high hopes for this one. Guess what? Those high hopes were totally fulfilled! I have an old Cadillac that had been sitting around for several months and was dead than a hammer. My wife and I went out with this Autogen to see if we could get the Cadillac to start. Well, did it ever start! I was so surprised and how fast the starter turnd the motor. The car started as soon as the gasoline got to the carburetor.I would advise anybody who wants to get one of these to purchase the Autogen 4000 Watt Car Jumper. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it. Along with each other uses this is certainly a 5-star item.

It has plenty of power, however I have a double battery F250 diesel and it requires two of these jumper batteries to provide sufficient power to start the motor. I learned that last week when I left my truck lights on during the day. One jumper battery couldn't do it, so I had to get someone with a jumper cable to hook to the second truck battery and it started then. I now have two jumper batteries in my truck for emergencies.

Used starter very lightly over several years but it exploded and burned the last time I used it. It was destroyed and I am lucky it did not destroy my truck.
