I prefer AA flashlights because I always have AA batteries around. It's brighter than my Terralux Lightstar 220 and is more compact. I like the fact that it doesn't have a bunch of goofy buttons or programmable functions. It's a rear forward clicky that has a great momentary contact. Brightness is controlled by twisting the head a quarter turn. That's it, nothing fancy, just a nice light that runs on common batteries and puts off a nice neutral colored beam.The difference between high and low output modes is not as dramatic as the ratings would have you believe. The low setting is more than bright enough for most activities.The size of the light is perfect for sliding into Molle/PALS webbing, so if you have a tactical pack, vest, shirt, hat, seat, dog, cat or anything else people put webbing on, you can store this light securely there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Best LED flashlight I've purchased *by H***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2015* Best LED flashlight I've purchased.
