I don’t even know if I want to keep it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars UPDATE: good but trashes your config files *by W***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 4, 2019* NOTE: Don't install the drivers on a running system, as the installer makes assumptions about out-of-box configuration settings, and overwrites your existing configuration without any warning or backup.Starting with a fresh Raspbian installation, the drivers loaded successfully. I am impressed that the Pi Camera also displays at full speed on the LCD screen. In order to boot to console mode, you have to press CTRL+ALT+F2 in order to get a console screen. The touchscreen is rotated 90 degrees in the console mode, so e.g. 'gpm' won't work as expected.The viewing angle isn't very good. This panel was designed for portrait-mode viewing, so you have to sit at just the right angle to see the screen properly. Even then, there are parallax issues where each of your eyes sees somewhat different colors.All in all, I'm very happy with the display/case combo at this price point (30 USD) and I hope to see driver improvements and/or full open source implementation so I can play around with the low-level interface.------------------Pi starts to boot but freezes after a few seconds. The text is upside-down from what you'd want when placing the device on the side with no connectors in the way. The fixed resolution propagates to the HDMI output so you can't get more than 320x480 on your main screen. Can't tell if the touchscreen even functions because booting stops. Navigating to the Github project shows many open issues, including irreversible overwriting of system files and no developer support. Binary blobs instead of "open source" code. Very disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars if a visual port to your computing needs is necessary this will get you 320x480 I imagine. *by W***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 27, 2020* Although many OS don't allow screen drawn beyond display limits, if your application's most critical input area is in the top left you might get along on the cheap with this $27 get up. It probably has low power draw without the suggested fan, and could run off many power banks for several half hours. The touch screen TFT screen worked accurately right out of the box. The included case fitments are all within accepted tolerances for the tft application. I've not had a plug not yet met its contacts for peripherals. If one installs DMT mode + 8? One might get scroll bars for the UI window? The instructions were fashioned in translation though quite accurate. The post for mounting a fan are metric thread and fan screw mount points are at 2.5 CM square.
