That practice seems quite unethical and dishonest to me.This wallet, while well put together and very slim, has the worst credit card retention of any wallet I've ever owned. In the 6-8 months that I used the wallet, I've lost and had reissued quite a few cards. I've lost count of how many times I've dropped cards on the floor while removing the wallet from my pocket, and have regularly found my cards floating around freely in my back pocket. I experimented with multiple cards in each slot to maybe allow for better retention, and washed the wallet, hoping that a bit of shrinkage would help improve the situation. Nothing fixed the problem I had.
