I decided to make an extreme departure to what I was used to and get something light and comfortable. The Altama Maritime Assault fit as expected. Build quality and materials are "good": there is some noticeable glue overlap around the toe box. Laces are fine but I replaced them with coyote 550 chord which fits without issue and color matches the original laces. Overall, very happy with this purchase and they are far lighter and more comfortable than my newer Belville boots. I'll be interested to see how they hold up under work and daily use conditions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Military Grade Chucks!!! *by S***S on July 28, 2018* Bought these for my husband, Chuck Taylors that have joined the military, got shredded and possibly have taken steroids. The material feels very tough but at the same time flexible, he says they fit like skate shoes, and didn’t need any breaking in.
