EE is wide in men's, 4E/EEE is extra wide in men's. I don't EE as an option when I made my purchase of the 2E width, however I see it now. I have really wide feet and most boots tend to bust out at the side on my boots. The 2E width was the perfect choice for me. The size stays consistent from pair to pair even though they were made several years apart. Now I have all three, ranging from “shiny and new” to “everyday use” to “you know what- kickers”. They hold up, but leather will eventually show its age. Even six year old boots are waterproof, and the new ones are just as good as the old.
