I wasnt paying attention when purchasing this and i thought the measurements about 1/4 1/2 and 1 oz were going to be bigger. Its graphite so it does leave that dark smudge on fingers after handling. Delicate. I feel if i dropped it on a hard surface it would shatter. Works great. Nothing adheres. I use it for lead and its amazing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nicely made *by R***K on February 27, 2014* This ingot mold was meant primarily for casting silver ingots. Since this is a GOLD ingot mold, the cavities are quite small (gold is very dense compared to silver). So I can cast silver ingots, but they are way less than 1 ounce! :)Very nicely made though - stands up to the heat just fine and produces nice, clean ingots.100% satisfied. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Weight is not accurate per the mold sizes described *by A***R on March 3, 2021* I have 13 grams of 9999 gold that I poured into the middle sized (1/2 ozt) slot and quickly noticed that it was not accurate to the description on this product. The ingot I poured in my picture is the smallest slot that is described as 1/4 ozt.
