Anyway, everybody doing from Kyokushin or off shot styles will find nice stuff here to improve their knock down techniques. From the very basics (kihon), which almost all karate styles share in common, to training combinations with partner,heavy bag and pads combinations and some self defense applications, all sprinkled with some karate philosophy and a seriously good theoretical approach.The techniques depicted in this book might be familiar to someone training in Ashihara or Enshin (as it obviously takes from Sabaki by Ninomiya and Fighting Karate by Ashihara), but for someone in the other families of full-contact karate (Shidokan, Ku-Do, Kyokushin, Shinkyokushin, etc) this book provides a variety of techniques and training strategies which could be very useful when you have to stand toe-to-toe with a bigger and stronger opponent.In summary this is a good book to have for all karateka not just kyokushin fighters.
