The pin that holds the ratchet to its holder popped out--won't pop back in. Although the main rack is made of solid steel, the hold-down straps & locking ratchet are made of cheap plastic; buyers beware! Why the manufacturer ruined an otherwise sturdy unit is beyond me; penny wise--pound foolish. Enclosed photos show a normal ratchet latch and my busted one. Also photo shows how straps will not snug-up onto the bike's frame. There is gap that prevents bike from being held firmly to rack, so it wobbled while being hauled. Yeah, it was under warranty, but I really don't want another one that'll be made the same way.
