I trimmed the sheet into smaller sections that I could clamp into my cross-stitch frame, and since I was making small magnets, a little bit went a long way! I made 14 magnets and had plenty of plastic canvas left for future projects. It really was a delight to stitch on, producing very even stitches. I purchased it to make an ornament for a gift exchange and was not disappointed. You use it exactly the same way as you would cross stitch fabric. Although it took a little bit of getting used to because of the different material it was very sturdy and I would definitely use it again and again. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that your needle will not be held taut in it like it does with fabric so sometimes if you don't push the needle through all the way before flipping around to the back it will fall right out LOL. Also make sure to use a minimum of two strands of floss when stitching so that way you get full coverage. It was very easy till cover the back with a piece of felt and Stitch over the edges of my ornament.
