I recently had a flare up and I could not find my boot and sleeping brace from over 5 years ago. Anyhow, I order a new boot and brace and I have to say, I am not disappointed with this boot. I remember the boot I got from the doctor was a bit heavier and threw my hip out more. This one is lightweight and the velcro does not make a loud noise as someone else mentioned. My other boot did not make much velcro noise either but you have some. I just make sure they are all fastened securely and you won't have much noise. I guess I am so use these boots they nothing phases me with them. Overall, this boot alleviates the foot and heal pain while resting and walking. I am generally a size 8 so I ordered a small and it had a small amount of room in the toe area should you need it. It may be too early to tell but I wanted to do a review; simply for the price alone. I have peroneal tendonitis. My doctor office had the almost exact boot for $289 with my insurance applied. The medical supply store in my area had it for $147. The staff member at the doctor office recommended I look online. I am glad I found this one.
