After doing a lot of online research I settled on this stove for the modern look of the stove and the positive reviews I found.We've had this in our house for 9 months now and really enjoy the stove. I'm always looking for opportunities to make a fire! So far with a moderately sized fire I've been able to keep the house at 70-75 degrees when outside temperatures were in the low 30s. I'm looking forward to this winter to see if this little stove can keep the house heated when temperatures drop into the 20s and teens.The one thing I wish was different about this stove is the fan. It's not as quiet as I was led to believe. I wish it had a fan speed controller on it so I could turn down the speed and make it a bit quieter. ### ⭐ Not EPA Certified and the fan doesn't push air *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2021* It looks great, but that's about it. Unfortunately, the aesthetics take away from the functionality. I ran this before the face was put on and it put out great heat. As soon as the face was installed the blower output was blocked at least 50% by the curved and thick grill, so almost impossible to feel any hot air actually blow out.Not deal breakers for me because the room isn't huge and it isn't our primary source of heat for the house, but anyone relying on this as an insert as a primary heat source will have a cold winter. The most deceptive and disappointing part of the experience was to learn (after installation and contrary to their advertising) the unit is not actually EPA Certified. Which means if you want any kind of rebate from a US State for installation/replacement to an efficient wood insert, this unit will not qualify. This I only learned after my rejection from the State. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lots of heat. Fan a bit noisy. *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2019* I've had one for the past 3 years. I find that it makes a lot of heat. I'm in Southern California but it gets down to the low 30's where I live. I burn ash, eucalyptus, oak and avocado. I'd recommend that you install a double-walled flue liner though they are pricey. I'm heating a large living area with 15' ceilings.The only negative thing for me is that (as others have mentioned) the fan is louder than I'd like. It pushes the heat out but a bit quieter would be nice.Edit: The door does "clunk" if you open it all the way to the right.
