HOWEVER, I purchased this microscope so I could use the camera feature to be able to display what was in the field on my computer/projector for teaching purposes. It's important to know that the camera's field of view is significantly smaller and MUCH more zoomed in that what you see through the eyepiece. I called tech support and they said that's just how the camera is set up and there's no way around that. So for me, the camera is basically useless because it is far too zoomed in to view the specimens. I am using it primarily for ticks/tick identification if that helps. I purchased another plugable microscope camera that I use to view the specimens instead. I still like the scope because it does give a great view of the specimens if an individual is using it. Not so great for a teaching setting though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ AmScope SE306 Microscope with Digital Camera *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2014* For the price this is a quality binocular microscope. I use it to identify & classify micro-seashells. Easy to set up and use. The clarity and illumination are excellent. It is easy to change from 20X to 40X ocular inserts. The MD-200 digital camera and driver software work well for both still & video photographer; however, it does not provide depth setting for 3-D exposure. The digital camera & software are compatible with Microsoft Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8, but not with Windows 8.1 or newer. I contacted AmScope technical services & was told that they are working on new software and digital cameras that will support Windows 8.1. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Arm loosened rather quickly, but.... *by Y***C on Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2018* ...That’s just a maintenance issue.
