They were easy to install, just follow the provided instructions and make sure the mounting surface is CLEAN! Instead of using the provided alcohol pads, I had a bottle of isopropyl alcohol and a few clean rags that I used to clean the window track to get it really clean. Then, followed the instructions and installed the vent shades. I didn't roll down the windows for 24 hours as suggested and they are solid. They went in easily, but were not perfect as far as fit. I went with the in-channel ones because they give a cleaner look to my truck, and hopefully they will last longer. When it came to the install if you follow the directions given you will have very little trouble. The only issue I did have with them is the front and rear passenger side windows kept getting hung up and the window would not close all the way. I looked to see where it was catching and used a rotary tool (Dremel) to shave down any burs or anything that the window would catch on. It took me about 5 minutes for both windows and now the windows go up perfectly every time.
