In fact you would normally want to be able to move bar stools around easily to a comfortable position. We have a wooden floor but I would not expect this to slip any more easily than the original plastic rim protector that came with the stools. **Q: Is there enough to fit 4 x 16” base stools?** A: I would say at 16" is your diameter not Circumference, but based on a 16" Diameter it should be about 50" Circumference which is just under 1.3mtrs per stool. So yes this would fit 4 stools under 2mtr dia' easily, its sent as one length so you just fit and cut to get a perfect fit on each stool. **Q: How long is the length provided?** A: I am so surprised when I went to the product, you are so right it does not mention the length. However you get a lot. I did 3 40cm bases (Maths says about 3 x 1.25 m) and I still have at least 3m left.
