If I could buy this product again, I would probably go for the (faster) 1 gb DDR5 version of the 640 gt or 650 gt card with the same awesome fan and over-clocking software from ASUS. The maximum the card can display is 2560x1600. The video card in my old ASUS P5WD2-E Premium, an ATI Radeon X1900 GT was bothering me because its fan was overspeeding more and more, making me feel as though it was about to fail and interrupting my train of thought. So, for $99 I jumped on this one, far superior to the other in memory size, speed, picture sharpness and cost, with no external power required. I have not been disappointed by performance, and have not heard its fan once. My use for it so far has been limited to one 24x36" HD monitor, but I will be getting a second to use with a double-monitor setup very soon. One other commenter is planning to use his with 4 monitors, and has been using it successfully with 3, for mostly big spreadsheets. That will more than satisfy my needs. I recommend it highly for less than gaming experience.
