They were easy to install and work well. They are very bright. the wire that the LED lights are on is very malleable and easy to weave around spokes of my bicycle which I use so I can ride at night or dim light. but on a side note I think if you kept bending them back and forth too much it could possibly break but so far I have not had any problems. I would have expected to see a rubber insulator, but also my cat likes to play with it so i have to keep the string out of my cat's reach.Battery life isn't too bad on rechargeables, i got about 12 hours out of that before it died.
