The faux leather has a substantial feel and looks great. The fit is as expected. Size up if you want something you can add thick sweaters or other layers under the jacket. I didn't give 5 stars because the color is off from the picture with the model. The button really is just hanging there, I tried to be very gentle but it still just fell off as I was attempting to use it. I am happy with the purchase and was prepared for both the issues I encountered because they are mentioned frequently in the reviews and I had decided the value was worth the button issue and the color would be okay even if it leaned more towards rust than the brighter red in the picture.
