Review: Works great, on the first job anyway - This vise is really light, made for the most part out of a strong but lightweight plastic. So when it arrived and I got it out of the box, I wondered how well it would hold my shotgun. The one I was working on is a Remington 870 Express that I've had for years. It has a long barrel, an aftermarket extended extra-capacity magazine tube that's almost as long as the gun barrel, a taclight and mount, and a side saddle installed that holds 6 extra 12-gauge shells. Total length from butt to muzzle is about 49" so it's a fairly heavy gun considering the size from the factory and the aftermarket mods it's carrying. Recently I decided that I wanted to run a sling on it too, so needed to install a sling stud on the buttstock. I ordered this vise to help with doing that job properly. Well, despite my apprehension that the light plastic vise might not hold the gun securely, those fears were unfounded. Last night I set things up on the microwave table I use for meal prep in the kitchen and it worked like a champ. Completely satisfied and favorably impressed; I got the hole for the sling stud drilled, and the stud installed, without any issues whatsoever. No tipping of the gun while working on it; plenty of stability. The easy-to-secure gripping points did no damage to the shotgun's wood furniture. We'll see how the vise does on future jobs with this gun and others.

**Q: Will this work with a 22 rifle?**
A: I use the bore light in every gun from .22 pistol to .308 rifle. The brightness is great for all.

**Q: I defintely want the Orange one. Is there a way to request that one?**
A: I personally think the white light is best.  I would think that you could request the orange in the comments section.  All they can say is it is not available.

**Q: I see two different pictures for the item. Which one is it?**
A: I got the black one. It is awful.

**Q: What does this provide that any other flashlight/penlight doesn't?**
A: if you are asking this question, than this is most probably not for you. 
this is mainly for firearms and frankly for most types. the optic curve on the top directs the light to the tip to shine down the barrel through ejection port. 
it is used inspect the rifling and cleanliness in the barrel. even small flashlight you can't place in the small opening properly to shine up the barrel.
if you are a shooter and you like keep your barrel clean, this is the tool that makes it possible. 
the curved optic tip is more important than the flashlight it self.

I would have thought this would have been a bit beefier but it works well. Used it for mounting a scope and for cleaning. It's nice and light and while I don't think it will break.... it does feel a bit cheap. Price was right so we'll see how it does.
