From my experience produces sufficient light for subjects up to 25' in direct mode and up to 15' away in bounce mode (with 9' ceilings).Having said that, I restrict my evening/night photography lenses to either the Panasonic-Leica 25mm/1.8 lens or the Olympus 14-54mm II F/2.8-3.5 lens (with MMF3 adapter), both "faster" lenses than the 12-50mm kit lens.I find that setting the scene mode to "Night+Portrait" on my Olympus OM-D produces pretty pleasing images when taking pictures of people outdoors, since this flash just works to fill in the light. However, there is nothing to beat bounce mode when taking pictures of people indoors where the ceiling is under 9 or 10' high. (In bounce mode, I set my camera to "A" (automatic) mode).A couple of other good features, it that the flash can be folded forward when not in use. It also cycles pretty fast and has a test button on the rear. I have not tried the remote modes, so I cannot comment on that. ### ⭐ Perfect! I only use during family get togethers a few times a year. GN25 is enough for room shooting, especially when I have 2 of them.Btw, it could be remotely controlled by original flash comes with the Olympus camera itself. Nice feature for me to do group flash.With the manual inside, I could do nothing besides testing. Only with support from other users, I started to get it paired with my E-PM1. That is why I gave 4 star rating.
