Before festool I always bought fein tools, out side of the drill they had made in China there tools are second to none . There grinder is a great tool there motors are much better then ours. I have a mill work shop and tools are what make you or brake you and I would highly recommend fein as great tools. You cannot stop that little grinder. Joe sotanski

I needed a 8 inch grinder. Choice is limited here in North America with those and I could not find an American made one. I was about to buy a (made in China) M.....ee brand when I came across this unit. Feels solid, works solid, high performer. Not the cheap electric motor smell, if you know what I mean... Made in Germany for the same price I was about to pay for the M....ee! Thanks Amazon! Since there is little info on these on the web: the little more expensive, similar Fein machine has a tool less blade change feature. This one needs the supplied wrench to change the blade.
