FALLING MAGNET! *by S***E on May 27, 2019* In full disclosure, I love this product. It cleans my windows wonderfully. The technique I've established is if the window is very dirty, to Windex and use the squeegee side of the tool. Possibly a few times, up to 3 times I've needed to do on our condo windows in NYC. The glass will be streaky afterwards, I then apply Windex to the blue cloth that attached and go back over the window. This makes it near perfect. I'm extending a 1-star review due to a significant safety hazard. This product comes with a string that you hold and keep inside the window, assuming it will fall off the window. It will fall, regularly. No big deal, it has a string right? WRONG. See my photos. In one instance that this fell, it swung down and must've hit the frame of our window. It knocked the magnetic holder loose, and BOOM the magnet went flying to the ground. This is no ordinary magnet, it's heavy. Very heavy in fact, if it had hit someone, it would've inflicted a serious wound. I was able to recreate this same issue by just hitting the unit onto a solid surface and the magnet came loose again.
