**Q: Will this work on a Windows XP**
A: It works on my Windows 10 and yes it works on any Windows pc

**Q: does it work on win 10**
A: Yes it does. You will have to set up a Steam account.

**Q: Is Ship Simulator Extremes (PC CD) an actual "stand-alone" SIMULATOR....or merely an extension or add-on for such an independent simulator program?**
A: No. It is not a stand alone. And so far I have not been able to make the connection to Steam. I can not recommend this item.

**Q: Does it take Windows 10?**
A: yes!!!  loads onto steam gaming platform that works with windows 10...fun game!!!

This game requires a Steam account and the installation of their DRM crapware.  Steam will not connect.  Game will not install.  Do not buy this.  I just wasted my money (not worth sending back).  It's going in the trash.  It's a shame they bought into Steams crap DRM, as the demo looked really great.
