Pretty standard for quilting rulers but if you’re wondering if your blade will stay securely on the cut and not bump up over the ruler’s edge, it won’t. There are thinner rulers available for other purposes but this ruler is for serious fabric cutting. **Q: Does this particular ruler have the nonslip grip** A: Yes. It is not the kind that will scratch fabric either, just enough to stay put well but can move it easily, too.
