**Q: If i am using a philips steam generator, will this cord holder able to hold the thick cord (the one that deliver steam to the iron piece)?**
A: The steam cord holder is designed to work with most irons. The diameter of the loop where the cord moves through is 1 1/8 inches. If your cord is smaller than that, it will work.

**Q: What is the maximum height the clamp will open up to?  My table is nearly 2 inches thick.**
A: the maximum opening on the clamp is about 1 3/8".
