High quality construction and parts make it awesome. Always research what glidecam will be best for your DSLR or camera setup before hand so that you dont buy the wrong one. For me, my usual video setup includes a Canon T3i + Sigma 18-50 2.8 + external mic. Weighing in at just under 3 lbs.I currently use the glidecam to shoot short movies, usually involving a lot of running around. But with glidecams, your camera will literally fly along if its balanced correctly. The HD series quick adjust knobs makes it easy to rebalance whenever I change focal lengths on my lens or add an accessory. If you plan on shooting any events, always buy the HD series for the quick adjust knobs. Changing ANYTHING requires rebalancing, just like on any other flycam. Using the XR series will take much longer to do this.Overall, it was everything I expected. Always read up on which one to get so that you may feel the same.
