Review: Works well for offroading - I have bought two of these to protect the stereo in or 78 cj5 Jeep. The first one broke when we rolled the jeep down into a ravine and it landed on a stump. Cracked the front of the housing, but the stereo was fine. The old jeep does not have a top anymore and we do a lot of offroading in heavy dust and mud. It has worked well to protect the stereo. I even use a garden hose on it when washing out the inside if the Jeep. Verry happy with it.

A: As a test I hooked them up to my stereo in my garage and they worked good. I now have them on my boat where they have a nice sound.

A: On the back panel where the wires go in, above each wire it is labeled as to which wire goes where!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Faulty Face Plate

I researched Stereo Enclosures far and near and settled for this enclosure. The price was right and it was a breeze to install. I read the reviews and was skeptical of my purchase due to all the negative reviews left about the face plate. I came to the assumption that these customers probably did not use caution when opening face plate or were just too rough. Please buy this item w/ caution. The hinge on the face plate breaks real easy. I notified the "Pyle" company about my concern and they responded w/ "We only cover mechanical parts"
