I soak my hair with water and use quite a few pumps to work through my curls. This products is great or wavy or curly/kinky hair and works even better if used as a leave-in after de-tangling. The smell is soft and unique. My stylist used this on my hair and my curls were beautiful and very light, so the product isn't heavy on the hair and doesn't leave white residue if left in. My only issue is the pump, after a few uses the pump doesn't pull any product out, which leaves me having to twist open the cap to get the product out. Other than packaging issues, I love the product. I recommend to anyone male or female, old or young. I guess i was hoping for my curls to look exactly like the pictures i saw on IG. I know we all have different hair textures but my hair is really soft, not too thick and it naturally curly. I used this after i shampooed my hair and i took my time to comb( with my fingers) the product on my hair BUT my hair looks the same when i use cantu. This product is not crunchy, leaves no residue. I like it, im sure i will love it one day. I am thinking about purchasing the curl gel but $18 is pretty steep. I will continue to do my research. If it works them i will buy.
