Friend who got it had some issues with audio out of the box, but got it replaced in a week by HyperX. Since then, no issues (popping, robot, static, drops, etc.) -Superior Performance to virtually all other USB Condenser Mics; This may change in the future, but as of right now, you can't get a better USB Microphone on the market. Cons: -Expensive; No way to beat around the bush, this will likely be your most expensive purchase on a mic unless your an audiophile and/or professional (in either case, you wouldn't be here reading this review.) -Better Alternative Options; I'm referring to traditional XLR Condenser Mics, which are more price competitive, but require more setup (Phantom Power, Pre-Amp, USB converter or Sound Card, etc.) and audio knowledge. Part of what you're paying for here is convenience. Considering my last several mics were XLR Condenser, having the complexity and issues associated I decided this is more my speed. -Single Color Scheme; This may bother some or none, but having a red mic that literally glowing red when in use mayb clash with some peoples' setups. Maybe you don't like the color red? Maybe you have an all green battlestation? Either way, I know HyperX is all about their red, but having different color options would've been nice.
