However, this product does not appear to be intended for that use. It's action is rather gentle. **Q: I have travertine floors and it has a clear sealer will this polish it and make it shiny again?** A: I used it on hardwood floors along with Johnson's paste wax. Floors turned out great. I did purchase "Lambs Wool"pads, not included, for final buffing. **Q: Are the black bristle brushes removable? How are the other buffing pads attached?** A: The black brushes can be removed but only for changing them. You leave them on when attaching the cleaning and buffer pads. On the pads there are rubber grommets which push onto the steel post on top of the brushes. Hope this helps. **Q: Does it strip floors** A: This does not strip floors like a commercial one. The pads that came with the unit were missing the middle attachment piece to keep them on the brushes. it is not of the quality I had hoped and has not been helpful in removing the polish even after I have scrubbed with my hands and on my knees. I contacted customer service to ask them to send me the inserts (plastic) to enable me to attach the polish pads and the rep I spoke to acted like I was wasting her time. She totally blew me off and made no effort to resolve my issue beyond the two plastic inserts I needed to attach the pads.
