Its ultra-compact size (11x10.5x7.5mm) and lightweight design (1g) make it ideal for compact electronics and DIY projects requiring reliable voltage boosting.

## Description

Voltage and current correspondence: Starting voltage 0.8V, output current 7MA Input 1-1.5V, output 5V 40-100MA Input 1.5-2V, output 5V 100-150MA Input 2-3V, output 5V 150-380MA Input more than 3V, output 5V 380-480MA This is a voltage boost converter module. When using it, be sure to observe the following conditions: The input voltage cannot be greater than the nominal voltage, otherwise the module will burn out The input power must be greater than the output power, otherwise the output voltage will be less than the nominal voltage The output load cannot be greater than the nominal load, otherwise the output voltage will be less than the nominal voltage Note: The installation of electronic modules requires basic knowledge and requires a certain electronic professional foundation and hands-on ability. Please purchase carefully! Manual measurement, with small error. Please check size in detail before purchase. Real colors may slightly differ from the pictures, as it depends on specific monitor settings and light brightness. We highly appreciate all customers opinions to improve the selling, also if anything you unsatisfied, please contact us for probable best solution. Package Includes: 5Pcs

Review: Super small and works perfect. - Worked perfect for my cyberbrick controller. It takes 3 AAA which at a rechargable rate = 3.6v. It seems like the controller will work with around 4v or up. Soldered this inline with the battery pack and pretty solid 5v output, at least enough for a hobby project. The small size is a huge plus.
Review: Works as advertised - may need a pull down resistor if application is "high" frequency - Works well, however it takes about a quarter of a second for voltage to fall off when boosting 0.8V to 5V. This can be fixed with a pull down resistor. I am using this to take a 0.8V signal and boost it to 5V so that an arduino can trigger off the 5V signal (input must be over 3V for arduino to read high). The thing I'm measuring rotates up to 6k RPM so I need a signal to go from on to off in a few milliseconds. The voltage would not fall off quick enough on this for the arduino to read low before the next cycle starts, so I had to add a 1k pulldown resistor between ground and the 5V line so that the voltage falls off quick enough. Now works great with this addition. Nothing is getting noticeably hot. I haven't ran this for any meaningful time so no telling if it'll last, but so far this is a cheap simple solution to triggering arduino with low voltage levels.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked for 1S lipo, for RC receiver + 2 sub micro servos.
*by C***U on April 28, 2021*

I purchased this to use with FlySky receiver and 2 tiny sub micro 5g servos. boosting voltage from 2.4 to 5v. It did indeed boost the voltage enough to power the RC receiver. However, it could not power the servos when trying to step up from only 2.4v ( two NiMh batteries ) the servos would not move and the voltage dropped from 5v to 1v when trying to use the servos. This booster is only rated for 480ma. However, using it with a 1S lipo at 3.7v worked just fine.... it is only rated for 480ma so technically my RX and 2 servos may draw more than 480ma but it worked fine on a 40 minute test. For low power applications, it seemed to work well, at the right price and great low weight ( good for RC planes ) at only 1g. However I will probably look for a similar light weight booster rated for 2 amps, as I'm worried this one is rated for only half an amp.
