Have not tried using it to draw with yet but I am rating it 2 stars because it came with the screen scratched up so badly like it appears to be used. It is hard to get on camera but I did upload an image- the scratched cover the entire face of the screen. The charging cord was also not tied up like a new cord it was tangled up and thrown inside the box. Very unsatisfied with this purchase. I’d suggest finding a different one to purchase. When you spend your hard earned money expecting to buy a new product it should be just that, new. *****UPDATE- After my initial review, and being able to finally use this item, I’ve turned out to love it. It does appear used but it is doing exactly what I wanted it to. The scratches it came with haven’t affected its use and the charger does work. Those were my biggest concerns. It turns off so easily though, I wish it wasn’t so sensitive. But overall I would purchase it again if needed to. Just wished it didn’t come looking used. Review: Great Product - It is as advertised. Easy to use, slim & light weight. Adjustable brightness is a real plus. ## Features - Eyesight-protected Technology - Ease your eye strain together with the protective film and eye-protective LED lamp; Only 5.1mm of thickness; Brightness: 1100 Lux; Illuminate Uniformity 745 cd/ m2. - Stepless Adjustable Brightness - Adjust the light freely with the touch sensitive button, simply a better way to find your ideal lighting; It will remember your favorable brightness last time of use. - USB POWERED - Comes with a USB cable, easily power your Huion L4S light pad from any Computer, Power Bank or USB Plug that connects directly into a wall outlet. - PORTABLE - Ultra Thin Design; Sleek design with a 12-by-8 inch work surface, light weight, only 0.60kg, portable carrying in a bag on the go or on a trip. - Wide Usage - Can be used for Negative Film Viewing, Artwork Tracing, Calligraphy, Scrapbooking, Tattoo Transferring, Sewing Projects, X-ray Film Viewing and more; One year warranty. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00J3NRAV2 | | Best Sellers Rank | #62,468 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #94 in Artists Light Boxes | | Brand | HUION | | Brand Name | HUION | | Cable Length | 1.2 meters | | Color | L4S | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 3,781 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00603786577546 | | Illumination Maximum | 1100 lux | | Included Components | Power Cable, User Instruction | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 14.17"L x 0.2"W x 0.2"H | | Item Highlight | Adjustable Brightness Light Pad for Tracing, Diamond Painting, Drawing, Sketching, Animation | | Item Thickness | 5.1 millimeters | | Item Weight | 1.5 pounds | | Light Source | Light Emitting Diode (LED) | | Light Source Type | Light Emitting Diode (LED) | | Manufacturer | ShenZhen Huion Animation Technology Co., LTD | | Manufacturer Part Number | HUION | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | L4S | | Model Number | HUION | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | USB | | Recommended Uses For Product | Drawing, sketching, tracing, animation, scrapbooking, calligraphy, sewing, quilting, stencil | | UPC | 603786577546 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** HUION - **Color:** L4S - **Item Weight:** 1.5 pounds - **Material:** Plastic - **Power Source:** USB ## Images ![L4S LED Light Box A4 Ultra-Thin USB Powered - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/7108zyYza2L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will the L4S 'shine through' cardstock? I need to be able to trace something onto cardstock from a transparency sheet.** A: I've tested and can see pretty clearly through 2 sheets of 100lbs bristol paper. **Q: I just bought this product. Do you always have to keep it plugged in or will it charge enough to turn on with out plugging it in?** A: Good news for USB owners - I plugged mine into a Mini 2600mah portable power bank charger and it powers on! I assume I can get a few hours out of it. Right now I'm testing if there's a battery to charge in mine. I'll update this answer with my findings. **Q: can you tell me the Name of the USB cable i need to purchase. i want a longer one.** A: I believe as long as it is a micro USB cable (where one end is the USB into a computer or charger and the other looks like a cell phone plug; think HTC phones) you can find those at any length. **Q: Can the rulers on the sides of the device be removed?** A: No they cannot be removed. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does not appear to be new like product claims to be. *by A***L on July 13, 2026* Screen is bright. Adjustable brightness is a real plus. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best and most convenient light pad available! *by G***T on September 15, 2014* This light pad is AMAZING! It's amazing how technology has developed. I remember having a light table when I was younger that was about 6 inches thick and required a high watt light bulb. This pad is flat, convenient, durable, and bright, and the lightness can be adjusted. It's called a "pad" because it is ultra-slim. Much thinner than light tables I've had when I was younger. With this pad, there's no need for a light bulb and no need for an outlet to plug it into. The pad has built-in bright LED's (negates the light bulb factor) and comes with a very long micro usb cord (negates the need for an outlet). The micro usb power cord only requires a usb port. That means a laptop, a usb power brick, or even a TV. Yes...a TV! Most TV's nowadays have usb ports. Guess what, they'll power your light pad. When I received this in the mail, I opened it in my kitchen. The nearest usb port I could see was the port on the TV in my kitchen. So I plugged it in out of curiosity and voila! Let there be light. And LOTS of light there was. The LED's are bright. There is a touch power button in the upper left corner. Continue pressing the button and the brightness adjusts. And it's a gradual adjustment - like a dimmer switch. Another nice thing is that when you tap the power button, it remembers your light setting. The construction is very good. It's rigid and it's made of what I would call plexiglass. That said, it'll scratch. So I wouldn't use this with an X-Acto knife and I'd keep it away from sliding against other things as you'll eventually get micro abrasions. I'm considering getting large format screen saver material and placing a sheet of that over the surface. My only complaints are the advertised screen size. The ILLUMINATED size, is not the same as the advertised SCREEN size. And I would have preferred a US Customary ruler system on the top and side. But these are minuscule compared to the overall greatness of this light pad. For the price, you can't beat it. ## Frequently Bought Together - HUION L4S LED Light Box A4 Ultra-Thin USB Powered Adjustable Light Pad for Tracing - HUION ST300 Adjustable Drawing Tablet Stand Portable Desk Stand, Suitable for Kamvas 12/13/16, Kamvas Pro 12/13/16 - HUION Artist Glove for Drawing Tablet (1 Unit of Free Size, Good for Right Hand or Left Hand) - Cura CR-01 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/1144494-l4s-led-light-box-a4-ultra-thin-usb-powered](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/1144494-l4s-led-light-box-a4-ultra-thin-usb-powered) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
