The beveled edge adds a touch of elegance, and the size is just right. Bought this for our 1939 cottage guest bath, and it's just perfect. The design is ageless -- this would be fine in a contemporary bath or a vintage bath. After the third time, I requested a refund.While the mirror is nicely designed and appointed, I found the workmanship lacking. Two of the mirrors has rough spots on the edge, where the beveling ended and the edge buffing began. These were visible when the mirror was exposed to edge light, as it will be when it is hung above a lavatory (and below the lavatory light). And the third had a scratch about an inch long in the viewing area.That said, feel free to order and see if you can get a good one.
