There's no need to disassemble the switches, just apply a small amount with a brush around the stabilisers and areas of the switch housing that are in the vicinity. 3. finally reduce the impact * of each keypress by adding a single O-ring to each keycap stem. Each of these steps made a significant improvement to my experience using the keyboard - as a result it's noticeably quieter and more pleasant to type on. * Using a single O-ring reduces the impact felt when you bottom out each key press, making the keyboard less tiring to use over prolonged periods.
