**Q: is the purpose of this product basically to form sketches with raised walls to hold inks, so they will not bleed? (thank you)**
A: It’s a sticky ink used for heat embossing. Basically, draw your line(s), sprinkle on embossing powder and heat. It will become shiny. Generally stampers use embossing pads (rather than pens) to put the sticky, clear ink on a stamp, stamp with it, then pour on embossing power and heat for a slightly raised, shiny look.

**Q: Has anyone used these with a Cricut Explore?**
A: It works great with the Cricut Explore Air 2 and Maker.  Just make sure you have a juicy pen.

**Q: I understand how I would use a clear embossing pen, but how does one use a black embossing pen?**
A: Well the same way + if you want to write some words, in black on is more easy to do that .

**Q: how thick is the ink?**
A: Its light weight. Not as think as Versamark.  Really good for touch ups and putting emboss ink in places an ink pad isn't feasible.  You can try two coats if it's not thick enough emboss.  If you want a really thick emboss, try another product.  Works just fine.
