It's actually such a thick type of paper that I feel the need to warn you about paper cuts! With the rolled up form, the edge of the paper flaps around so be careful. This wrapping paper served as our gift wrapping paper for the crib (a very large box) and as the backdrop. It was very sturdy material. I was able to stick faux roses through the paper and hang a banner from it. Will definitely consider using kraft paper again as a backdrop as it can be used for a multitude of things and it’s a lot better for the environment! I had a lot left over and my roommates and I were able to use the rest for random crafts and to wrap fragile things and add some cushioning to moving boxes. This stuff is much thicker than the average paper bag. If it's going to be used for regular wrapping or maybe as book covers, it's going to take a lot of folding to soften the edges a little bit or a lot of very strong tape to hold down, because it's going to want to spring back up.
