I've taken several kinds of Red Yeast Rice with no effect on blood test results. My current MD recommended Sylvan as the purist product on the market. I took a blood test in December 2013 and sure enough my total cholesterol was 220... but that was before I started taking 1200 mg of Sylvan twice daily. I just had a follow up test after 3 months on Sylvan and the results were astounding. Total cholesterol down to 171, HDLs up significantly, LDLs down significantly... essentially, every number moved dramatically in the right direction. I will be doing another follow-up test in 3 months to confirm but as of this date I'm more than impressed. ### ⭐⭐⭐ and RYR made me look like an 80 year old alcoholic *by P***K on Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2017* As described, but I learned they may mess with your liver levels.
