In the last 30 days of owning the stand, I can say that it's performed better than an other stand I've owned in its price range, and maybe any stand period. The build is solid and I'd image it would take a while to become loose and unusable so I expect I'll get my money's worth from this stand. A cool feature of this stand I love is the clips that come with it to mount it in various places temporarily without taking away from the stand itself. The mounts are also solid and safe to where I'm not worried about setting the tablet and stand in them for long periods of time. I wish I had known about this stand before wasting so much money in other products. This thing is sturdy, very adjustable and it stays right where you put it. When folded It is more compact than you might think. I actually take it with me everywhere I go in my small back pack. The head mechanism easily detaches and mounts with the press of two spring buttons which makes it even more practical. I don't have to unmount the whole thing, just detach the head in seconds to use mi iPad Mini as a hand held device. I use the Seneca AV stand mainly for sketching and digital drawing but it also makes a perfect stand for reading, video chatting, recording sound or for watching movies, not to mention it is the best tripod for taking pictures. Also combined with a blue tooth keyboard it makes a perfect compact desktop computer.
