(I am a teacher, so...) the box comes with two of the same filters (as your air puifier requires two, one on each side.) The helps and carbon filters are all in one. So, the “box” containing two filters will replace the consumable (throw away) filters. The other filters are the screen filters which you vacuume/wash 2-4 weeks depending on your use and air particles in your environment. I have had my Air Mega for over a year. The replaceable box of two filters has been changed at 9 months, but I have four dogs and a small house which the air gets circulated quite often. I also run mine on high all day and “smart” at night. If you have another question post it and I’ll get back with you. I am truly a customer, don’t work or get kick backs from Air Mega; this is a great machine, I think best in the market!
