Snug hinges make sure the folding shower seat stays in place in both raised and lowered positions. Padded vinyl cushion has 1-1/2" (38mm) high density, high resilience foam, covered with marine grade Naugahyde. Cushions have no external piping. When correctly installed, this shower seat supports 250 pounds. The shower seat sits 17 to 19 inches from finished floor in order to meet ADA code and is installed using two 3-inch heavy-gauge stainless steel flanges which are included The padded folding shower seat comes in multiple lengths . Padded folding shower seat manufactured from 1" (25mm) diameter, 18 gauge and 1.25" x 1.25" (32mm x 32mm), 16 gauge, type 304 stainless steel tubing with #4 satin finish. Wall mount brackets shall be 12 gauge type 304 stainless steel. Mounting brackets and wall latch are included. The bench seat is large and comfortable and folds easily out of the way. Very secure feeling with the four legs. Only negative for me is the instructions have nothing in common with this bench. Company answered my email right away but told me there is no other instructions, that the seat I have is basically the same...not.
