The special edition DVD box set is nicely presented. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Battlestar Collection! *by B***R on 19 August 2012* I only started watching this magnificent series at the end of season 3, when the Baltar trial started. I was enthralled, and bought this limited edition collection to catch up on everything. This isn't a sci-fi show, but a solid drama that happens to be set in outer space.All in HD, the episodes play in as cinematic format, some episodes are previously unaired extended editions, which are a real treat. With no episode list, though, one can get a normal sized episode on one disk, on to get an extended edition on the next. A minor quibble on this beautiful collection.Razor is here, with only 'The Plan' missing, as it hadn't been issued yet. I have that now, and is just a companion to the main collection.If there is anyone out there who hasn't seen BSG, you won't know what you have missed!"What do you hear, Starbuck?" So glad this was made for TV rather than cinema (although it has a real cinematic feel; the space battle scenes are so well done they almost feel like 3D in parts) because this gives you a chance to get to know and love (or hate) the characters. They (and the audience) go on a real journey of discovery about themselves and their respective societies (both human and Ceylon) and as is often the way with American drama, you feel that there is a moral in the tale (rammed home particularly hard but with humour in the final episode). Well worth the money for hours of brilliant entertainment.
